Three hours. Live, with eight to ten other people who are exactly where you are. By the end of this workshop you'll have built not only a new skill, but something real for your own work.

Bring whatever your work is throwing at you and we'll work on it together. By the time we finish, you'll have a Claude Project set up the way you want it, an artifact you can actually use, and a Cowork plan that takes one task off your hands going forward.

The curriculum is built on Anthropic's published research on the AI Fluency Index, drawn from 50,000+ Claude conversations on what makes people actually get better with Claude over time. Three pillars. We move through all three.

While Claude is the tool we use live, the foundations transfer. The way you'll learn to think about prompts, projects, and what to delegate works just as well in ChatGPT, Gemini, Perplexity, or Copilot. The tools change. The fluency holds.

You'll walk away with a method, not a memorized trick. That's the difference.

What you’ll learn

In short, you will walk away with the building blocks and skills to transform your career as AI assistants make their way into the world.

  • The difference between Chat vs Cowork: same Claude, two ways of working. Knowing which mode a task wants is half the battle.

  • How Claude actually works under the hood: what it's good at, where it confidently makes things up.

  • A framing built to outlast the next model release. The skills transfer to ChatGPT, Gemini, and Copilot too.

  • CTFC: Context, Task, Format, Constraints. Anthropic's own research calls this the Cowork's gateway behavior.

  • Three concrete iteration moves you'll rehearse live. The gateway behavior on the Chat side.

  • Both moves rehearsed live. The habits that turn AI you fight with into AI that does what you actually wanted.

  • Description, Custom Instructions, Memory, Skills: what makes Claude yours across every Chat conversation.

  • Connectors, Plugins, scheduled workflows: Cowork's reach into Slack, Drive, Salesforce, and your calendar.

  • You'll set yours up live in the session. Leave with both a Project and a Cowork plan ready to deploy this week.

  • You'll leave with all six layer-bound Review checks on one page, all drawn from Anthropic's own research.

  • We practice three of the six live. You commit to keeping one habit going for the next 30 days, with a check-in.

Workshop agenda

  • Lesson 1: Connect the Mental Models

    Chat vs Cowork: same Claude, two ways of working. Six-prompt sort. Commit your artifact-of-the-day to the worksheet.

  • Lesson 2: Foundational Concepts

    Two signature moves, taught with equal weight: CTFC for Cowork (clarify the goal) and Iterate for Chat (refine through turns). Both tied back to Anthropic's own research on gateway behaviors.

  • Lesson 3: Build, Iterate, and Learn

    Set up your Project: Name, Description, three Custom Instructions, Memory, one Skill installed. Build your first artifact using your CTFC.

  • Lesson 4: Debrief & Close

    Three-pillar retrospective. Review commitment: pick one of six checks you'll keep doing. Pick first thing you'll try this week or when you return to work.

  • (Optional) Q+A with Dom

    We'll finish off the workshop with an optional Q+A to help you take what you've learned into your work.
